Terms of Service

The service

Bua provides an AI-powered chatbot that answers visitor questions using content crawled from your website. You install it with a script tag; we handle crawling, hosting, and answering. These terms form an agreement between you and Bua when you create an account or use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must have the right to let us crawl the website you connect.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, misleading, or harmful use of the service or the chatbot.
• No attempts to probe, overload, or disrupt the platform or other clients' chatbots.
• No use of the widget to collect personal information beyond what visitors knowingly provide.

AI-generated answers

Chatbot answers are generated by AI from your website content. They may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for the content on your website and for reviewing how your chatbot represents your business; Bua does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice through the widget.

Plans and billing

Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT. Subscriptions renew monthly or annually depending on your plan; you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the portal, effective at the end of the current billing period. Trials do not require a card and convert only if you choose a paid plan.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and factors outside our control (including upstream AI-provider availability) may affect the service.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bua's total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
